Things I must make!

These little knit babies are too cute!

Snoozing Ned looks so cuddly!

I would love to incorporate this general design to make my boy a Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc.

How about a cute little cupcake decoration?

I see myself knitting a multitude of these in the near future to decorate my house at Easter time.
I’m not very good at intarsia, so I may just knit these up with random bits of variegated yarn or perhaps try to do a stripey pattern.

Every year the hubs and I give the kids a Christmas ornament in their stockings (in an attempt to build up their “collection” for when they spread their wings and leave the nest) and I think these mini stockings would be adorable. They’re small enough that I think I might be able to knit one for each of our immediate family.

My favorites are the striped ones and the solid ones (since I lack intarsia skills).

This little crown would make a good replacement for the Burger King cardboard crown that my daughter wears daily that’s seen better days.

When I was growing up, I was completely crazy over the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Here’s hoping my son keeps the family craze alive.
I really like this gal’s blog. All of her patterns are free and knitted on 2 needles. I know how to use dpn’s but I’m not that great at it.

How cute is this little monkey?

I just might die from the cuteness of this hippo!
I learned to crochet before knit so I’m very excited to whip this little guy up. I see A LOT of Christmas presents for my kiddos. *wink*

Seriously, I’m dying over here. I love this site as well (bittersweetblog). How could I not love it when she posts free patterns for such cute things like these cupcakes?

This makes me want to have a whole bowl full of crocheted/knitted fruit!

I can say with absolute certainty that this will be adorning my Thanksgiving table.

Oh my word. I must decorate every window ledge in my home with these!

I need to replace all of the advertisement magnets on our fridge with these cuties.

Here’s the crocheted version of Monkey Moo.

Oh my word. I’m suddenly hungry. ha.

Knitted Giraffe. Enough said.

This will find its home with the grapes in my bowl of yarny fruit.

Um, yea. Another must-have. I actually knitted one of these for a swap at the beginning of the year. I was very sorry to see it go. I must make myself one!

More fruit for my yarny bowl!

Knitted Donut and Cupcakes!

It’s a shame Easter is still months away. I guess it does give me ample time to whip some of these up as decroations around the house.

Yummy…very reminicent of my childhood days. My mom used to buy us these exact ice cream cones.

Must knit a million of these to decorate the house for Halloween/Thanksgiving! (without the face)

More goodies for the yarny bowl!

I think I may be developing an obsession with knit/crochet food.

Oh my goodness, knitted corn.

The instructions for these actually tell you how to make these into baby rattles. How clever!

Strawberries that look almost real enough to eat!

Mr. Pear

I just can’t help myself. Knitted Apple =)

When I was growing up, my mom had this magnet for our fridge that was 2 olives with a toothpick speared through them. I can’t seem to find a similar magnet anywhere, and I was very fond of my mom’s magnet. So, I’m extremely excited to have come across this pattern to knit olives. I have plans to knit 2, spear them with a toothpick, and glue a magnet to the back. Viola! My own version of my mom’s magnent. Also, I’m thinking of knitting up a bunch, putting them in a jar with a label that says “Olive Juice” and give it to the hubs for a gift. 🙂
